We are fast approaching the second movie adaptation of Supergirl with Sasha Calle appearing in The Flash 2023. But before Sasha Calle and even Laura Vandervoort from Smallville and Melissa Benoist in the Arrowverse there was the 1984 movie. Set in the Christopher Reeve Superman universe it sees Helen Slater take on the role in a truly bizarre adventure which is entirely divorced from reality and logic. Is it good? No. Is it weird?
