Gladiator is back! But this time he’s Paul Mescal instead of Russell Crowe’s Maximus. Ridley Scott finally decided to return to the world he began in 2000 after numerous attempts to get a sequel off the ground, including one Maximus Decimus Meridius returning from the grave. But forget all that Russell Crowe refused to have anything to do with this. So anyways, new Gladiator gets his wife murdered and now there’s two Emperor’s and he’s mad at Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington is also there.
