We continue our epic and cinamatic journey towards Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey by taking a look at a second inspiration behind his adaptation. This time it’s Troy from 2004 from director Wolfgang Peterson. Loosely based on Homer’s Iliad and the story of the Trojan War it pits (pun intended) Brad Pitt’s Achilles against Eric Bana’s Hector, Orlando Blooms Paris against Brendan Gleeson’s Menelaus, a city of stupid people against a horse and a whole lot more.
