Avengers: Doomsday plans to act as a re-introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the lackluster reception to more recent MCU tv shows and movies. Because of this certain characters that appeared over the last eight years are unlikely to return because people have forgotten (The Black Knight), audiences hated it (G’iah), the actor doesn’t care (Harrison Ford as Red Hulk) or complications behind the scenes (Blade).
