It’s almost impossible to comprehend that we’re now on to the second reboot and eighth live action Resident Evil movie since 2002. The general consensus regarding this Zach Cregger directed installment is that it’s the best one yet by a loooooooong way. Adopting more of the structure, vibe, some monsters and individual elements from the games, it’s also breaking box office numbers for the franchise. Though it isn’t without its detractors, with criticisms regarding humour, the protagonist, the modern day setting despite being set during the events of RE2 and more. Here’s all of our thoughts though! Wow incredible!
